I can't say I'm too fond of the PR approach that AMD has taken with their new Visionary awards. The email was fine, but the random @StillLifeWith mention was just on the wrong side of Twitter spam. Still... they got me to click through, and I'm kind of glad they did. Glad enough that I really wanted to share it with you.

The AMD awards honor outstanding folks in three categories: food, photography and entrepreneurship. A strange combination, for sure (although I personally feel connected to all three). I haven't watched all the videos yet, but I encourage you to check out at least the photography section, where one of the photographers has created these amazing Alice in Wonderland type images while another helps connect photographers with non-profits to produce heart lifting (and breaking) images around the world. It's powerful stuff.
