The Donna Hay website has some beautifully simple shots to represent each of their seasonal menus. I love the look of the shot for fall. A simple potato shot, with peel. It’s high contrast and messy, and yet soft and clean at the same time.

Let’s see what you can do with this simple shot.

    Thanks Lara for running these photo remake challenges. It is a great way to learn, and thanks to you I discovered flickr and all the wonderful talented people there. I totally fell in love with food photography quite recently and you and other fellows I found on flickr are a great inspiration for me!

    Btw. I will have to try hard to get muddy potatoes! :)
