I am impressed. Playing with food was a blast, and I love how everyone really got into the spirit dreaming up all kinds of crazy scenarios for their food, like the photo above, which seems like a great segue to this month’s theme: Fall. I’m leaving it up to you to decide which Fall you want to go with… Autumn or plummeting, or maybe some combination of both.
This month, let’s go back to adding critical (both positive and negative feedback) and working on improving our photography. There are all kinds of techniques that can be worked on with this theme besides the basics… capturing motion can be quite a challenge as can bringing out all the fall colors without over-saturating the image. Even just getting good natural light can be tricky, depending on what part of the world you are in.
The usual rules and are up on the Flickr group… the things like be constructive, take the photos during the month if possible, 3 photos per person and the last day is November 30th.
(P.S.: Foodography #11 has a fun theme this month of Cookbooks. Shooting cookbooks is an interesting way to start getting into product photography without straying too far from the beloved subject of food. You can try your hand at it on the Foodography #11 flickr group.)
